As a dedicated slitter rewinder manufacturer, Nicely Machinery Development Co., Ltd. has designed and built precision slitter rewinders since 1984, serving converters in papers, films, nonwovens, electrical insulation materials, and metal foils across more than 60 countries. With over 1,700 machines in operation worldwide, Nicely is recognized as a specialist in high-difficulty converting applications — including copper foil slitting at 6 μm thickness, nonwoven slitting at 1,200 m/min, and electrical insulation material handling for motor winding processes. In 2015, Nicely was awarded Best Indirect Supplier in the Asia Pacific region by Avery Dennison.
Nicely engineers evaluate material properties, slit width tolerance, finished roll geometry, and tension requirements before machine design is finalized — from initial specification through factory acceptance test (FAT). Throughout the entire process, from initial design to final delivery, we emphasize efficiency, quality, and meeting customer expectations.

Quality Commitment
Each Nicely slitter rewinder undergoes a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) before shipment, verifying line speed, tension loop accuracy, slit width consistency, and rewind geometry. Onsite commissioning and operator training are provided as standard.

Among other major machinery suppliers, Nicely has a small scale of company structure with 50 employees, 47% in production, 13% in sales, 30% in R&D, and 10% in management.

Nicely’s R&D team (30% of headcount) covers mechanical and electrical engineering, with proprietary developments including a patented differential shaft (1989, 1994) for winding materials with thickness variation, nonwoven slitting systems up to 6 m web width, copper foil slitting to 6 μm, and in-house machine control software.
Our in-house production technicians are highly skilled and trained to ensure that all slitter rewinders perform to our standard prior to shipment.

Automatic Knife Positioning for Optical Film Slitting, this system uses servo control and precision positioning to achieve ±0.1 mm accuracy, improving yield and stability, while blade cleaning and fluid monitoring reduce contamination and scratches for high-cleanliness applications.
