NICELY Open House : From Showcase to Co-Creation

News 2025-09-01

On August 15th, 2025, Nicely Machinery welcomed customers, suppliers, trading companies, and peers to our Open House – Technology Day. It was not only a gathering, but also a moment to reflect on where our industry stands and where it is heading.

Today, manufacturers around the world are facing supply chain disruptions, intensifying price competition, labor shortages, and rising geopolitical risks. These pressures are reshaping how we work and how we collaborate. Nicely chose to face these realities with openness, creating a space where challenges can be shared honestly and new possibilities can be explored together.

More Than a Showcase

This was not simply a product display. It was a platform for dialogue. Many guests arrived with specific challenges; others shared experiences and perspectives. Through these conversations, new ideas and opportunities emerged. The event reinforced our belief that trust and collaboration across the value chain are the only way forward.

Three Key Themes

We focused on three directions that represent NICELY’s transformation:

1. Retrofit & Upgrades

  • Optical film: enhanced slitting accuracy, integrated automatic knife positioning and blade cleaning, and met cleanroom standards.
  • Energy & 5G: within three weeks, we resolved copper foil wrinkling at high speed, significantly reducing waste.
  • Nonwovens: increased rewind diameter from 1200mm to 1500mm, boosting capacity by 30%, upgrading safety systems, and extending machine lifespan.

These cases demonstrate our role not only as machine builders but as solution partners.

2. Modular Design

The EG-9000 spooling slitter rewinder exemplifies modularization:

  • Unwind units that adapt to various raw materials.
  • Drawer-type slitting knives for fast changes and reduced downtime.
  • Flexible rewinding systems scalable from 6 to 18 or more sets.

Modularity is more than engineering, it’s a promise that our machines grow with our customers’ businesses.

3. Maintenance & Training

We often ask: is the problem the machine, or the way it’s used? That’s why we stress:

  • Regular maintenance to keep equipment in top shape
  • Operator training to minimize risks
  • Empowering teams to perform their own maintenance

Because ultimately, people create the true value from machines.

What the Survey Told Us

The post-event survey gave us valuable confirmation and inspiration:

  • Most guests rated the event “Very Satisfied” and said it brought real business value.
  • The live machine demonstration was the highlight, followed closely by the technical presentations and case study sharing.
  • One participant wrote: “I’d love to hear more improvement stories across different industries.

These insights not only validated our efforts but also sparked new ideas for future events, ensuring they become even more engaging and impactful.

Looking Ahead

Together, these themes and reflections highlight our philosophy: NICELY is not just a supplier, but a co-creator of solutions.
The most valuable takeaway was not the slides or machines, but the human interaction—the nods of agreement, the probing questions, the energy in the room.
For us, this Open House was not the end, but the beginning of something greater. We thank every guest who joined us. The “seed of exchange” planted here will continue to grow into trust, collaboration, and shared success.
